Ind. Courts - More on: Auction gone bad winds up in court: sellers wanted to keep part of land
Thanks to Sherry Brown, the Clerk of the Harrison Circuit Court in Corydon, the ILB now has a copy of Harrison Circuit Court Judge H. Lloyd Whitis' opinion in the case of Ehalt v. Brewer Auction Service.
This is the case cited in this ILB entry from Jan. 5th that referenced a Louisville Courier Journal story headlined "Palmyra auctioneer ordered to pay for couple's lost land: Reserved parcel sold in purchase of farm."
Access the 11-page ruling, dated Dec. 20th, 2005, here.
