Ind. Courts - Still more on proposal to end merit selection of St. Joe County judges

The Indiana Senate Judiciary Committee will likely vote this Wednesday on whether to send House Bill 1491 to the full Senate.

The Senate Judiciary Committee today
voted 6-5 to sent HB 1491, amended in committee to include language adding a sixth Court of Appeals panel, to the full Senate. Senator Bray, the committee chair, cast the deciding vote.
